Took a little time and patience, but they did complete the 'download' once I had agreed to the 'remote' access. I pressed that the Download site referenced replacement installers if you no longer had the installation media - would cover both 'downloads' and 'CDs'. They then advised that the access to a 'download' applied only to initial purchases - and not CD purchases. They 1st suggested that it was not available as it was not compatible with Windows 8.1 However, when pressed they advised that it could be installed on Windows 7. Two things to watch for TST was reluctant at 1st to provide access to the program. Getting them from anywhere else is taking quite a big risk, as you can't know what else you're installing at the same time (viruses, malware, ransomware, etc.). No problems with the instalation - required my original serial #. Adobe only offers older installers for people who bought an older license as a digital download. Once downloaded, it is up to the 'user' to then instal. As such, they had to take 'remote' access to effect the download. ![]() ![]() ![]() They advised that there was no longer any 'user' access to Acrobat Standard 9. Upon calling, I eventually was able to have them 'download' the program to my computer. Call the Technical Support Team (TST) and advise of your situation (1-80).
